Each bowl begins as a log and is then axed into a form that can be placed onto a lathe. These bowls are made on a foot powered pole lathe. On the lathe the bowl is turned into its final form. Some pieces are hand painted with milk paint. All pieces are finished with a food safe tung oil.

Designed and hand crafted for daily use. All wooden kitchen wares such as spoons, scoops, bowls and plates are food safe.

Wash wooden utensils by hand in warm water with a mild soap. Wooden kitchen wares should never be washed in a machine. Be careful not to scrub painted areas. Scrubbing painted surfaces can remove paint.

*Why is this bowl on SALE? If a bowl has a crack the bowl is not ruined. A crack can leak liquid, which is why it gets a special sale price. There are many uses for an imperfect bowl. Sale bowls can still hold food (that isn’t liquid) or hold non-food items.
